A Osteogénese Imperfeita (OI) é um grupo de doenças hereditárias responsáveis por graus variados de fragilidade óssea. Um traumatismo minor é suficiente para causar fracturas e deformações ósseas. Geralmente é utilizada uma classificação em 5 tipos. A OI é causada por mutações nos genes COL1A1 ou COL1A2. A terapia com Pamidronato na infância é o tratamento mais extensamente estudado, tendo-se provado benéfico.

Recaudamos fondos para la investigación de esta grave enfermedad, rara entre las raras, con el sueño de encontrar curación a la misma. No se conocen más de 50 ó 60 casos registrados en el mundo, lo que hace que ni los laboratorios farmacéuticos ni los estados investiguen esta enfermedad, todo debemos conseguirlo los padres con fondos privados. Es una enfermedad degenerativa que en pocos años tiene un desenlace fatal.

Recursos Educatius per la Infància en Risc (REIR) es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro que gestiona diferentes proyectos con infancia en riesgo de exclusión social, sobretodo en Cataluña. Intenta dar una respuesta integral, de protección, con proyectos como centros de acogida, y de prevención como el Servicio Integral al Menor, desde dinde se financian becas escolares para menores en riesgo de exclusión. Actualmente tenemos una Beca Teaming y el próximo curso ampliaremos a dos dichas becas.

Abril is a 7-year-old girl diagnosed with SPG52, with only 50 diagnoses in the world. SPG52 is an ultra-rare disease that causes very serious symptoms such as severe intellectual disability, epileptic seizures and very rapid muscle degradation in the lower body. Abril started walking when she was 3 years old and now at 7 she can hardly move anymore.

Since the beginning of the conflict, we created this group to help Ukrainian people who were affected by the war. Now, through the Red Cross, we support people who were forced to flee and have arrived in Spain. But also to those who stayed in the country by sending humanitarian aid and social assistance on the ground through the same entity.

12 years of war in Syria have left millions of victims and 5.5 million refugees. Since then, donations have been made in this group to assist them through harsh winters without heating or during the pandemic. Their situation is now even more critical after the earthquakes in February. Nearly 12 years of war in Syria have left a country devastated, and worse, millions of lives destroyed. But now a devastating earthquake of magnitude 7.6 hits the northwest of the country and the southeast of Turkey on February 6, leaving more than 4,000 lives in both countries. From the Islamic Relief Foundation we are on the ground providing cash grants so that those most affected can meet their immediate needs.

More than 500 patients and their families suffer intestinal failure in Spain. This pathology prevents them from feeding and hydrating themselves naturally. Therefore, they depend on a pump that administers the necessary nutrients intravenously and, sometimes, they need a transplant of up to 6 organs to survive. Alba is an inteligent funny and amusing girl. Although we well could say “was”, as a terrible tragic accident happened on fateful march 21st 2016. A relative, who was in a shock due to an epileptic attack, let Alba fall from a third floor. Alba saved her life, but a strong brain damage remains on her. Now, we have a long neurorehabilitation process left ahead to see how much she can recover and become herself again a bit. Help us!
