Recaudamos fondos para la investigación de esta grave enfermedad, rara entre las raras, con el sueño de encontrar curación a la misma. No se conocen más de 50 ó 60 casos registrados en el mundo, lo que hace que ni los laboratorios farmacéuticos ni los estados investiguen esta enfermedad, todo debemos conseguirlo los padres con fondos privados. Es una enfermedad degenerativa que en pocos años tiene un desenlace fatal.

Recursos Educatius per la Infància en Risc (REIR) es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro que gestiona diferentes proyectos con infancia en riesgo de exclusión social, sobretodo en Cataluña. Intenta dar una respuesta integral, de protección, con proyectos como centros de acogida, y de prevención como el Servicio Integral al Menor, desde dinde se financian becas escolares para menores en riesgo de exclusión. Actualmente tenemos una Beca Teaming y el próximo curso ampliaremos a dos dichas becas.

Al Sur de Etiopía, en una región rural y con muy pocos recursos económicos, se encuentra el Hospital de Gambo, hospital misionero que ofrece asistencia sanitaria a todos los habitantes de la región e incluso recibe a las personas más pobres de zonas alejadas al tratarse de uno de los hospitales más baratos del país. La población padece desnutrición severa, deshidratación, malaria, tuberculosis, sida, neumonía, meningitis, y son los niños la población más vulnerable y afectada.

El objetivo del proyecto es reducir la tasa de abandono escolar de los alumnos con mayores dificultades de aprendizaje, provenientes de entornos socio familiares conflictivos. Además, tiene otros objetivos transversales: eliminación de la brecha de género en entornos tecnológicos, descubrimiento de vocaciones en áreas STEM, soft skills, habilidades sociales y comunicativas, uso del error como parte del proceso de aprendizaje y convertir a los jóvenes en usuarios responsables de tecnología.

Carlos is a partner of everis who was diagnosed with ALS at the age of 32. Since then, he has not stopped fighting against the disease and has been an example for overcoming it: he has run more than 600 km in 13 marathons in his wheelchair. For more than 30 years we have been working for the social and labor inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. They already suffer discrimination, but this last year we saw how it was accentuated by the arrival of telework, online training and the rise of the digital world. These past months, we have observed how the internet and new technologies serve as a tool to keep us connected to the world, a tool that is too complex to use for this group.

We set up this group initially to support the people affected by the earthquake that struck Syria and Turkey earlier this year, hand in hand with UNHCR. After the initial emergency, UNHCR's action is now focused on its natural focus: Syrian refugees, people who have left their homes for this reason or others. Many thanks to all of you who joined and for your quick response. We will send the last funds to them this month and then we will close this Group.

We manufacture prostheses for people who are amputees or who have been born without an arm. We have delivered hundreds of them in Spain. Mexico, Colombia, Kenya, Thailand and more than 50 other countries free of charge for people with disabilities who could never access this type of aid. Giving them this oportunity would improve their quality of life, increase their employability and, in the case of children in many countries, would allow them to go to school. HELPING IS TOO EASY NOT TO DO IT.

Since the beginning of the conflict, we created this group to help Ukrainian people who were affected by the war. Now, through the Red Cross, we support people who were forced to flee and have arrived in Spain. But also to those who stayed in the country by sending humanitarian aid and social assistance on the ground through the same entity.

The SJD Pediatric Center is the first monographic centre for paediatric oncology in Spain (2nd in Europe). 70% of the centre is devoted to care and 30% to research. It has the capacity to care for 400 children and youngsters. Its spaces are designed with the emotional well-being of the children and their families in mind. Our aim is that the children have more options to overcome cancer with less after-effects. Your euro helps to carry out the humanisation programmes and new treatments. Will you join us?

As you know, a 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck southern Morocco,(its epicentre has been 60km from Marrakech). To date, more than 2,800 people have been killed and more than 2,500 injured, according to the Moroccan Ministry of the Interior. NTT DATA colleagues have joined forces to help them by donating €1/month to the Emergency Committee.
