Angel's Choice is a Dutch foundation that supports various rescue organisations in Macedonia. Like Dog Rescue Gastarovska (handicapped dogs) and Angelcats Sanctuary from Skopje (mainly cats). The situation for the animals in Macedonia is very bad. The rescuers can only take the worst cases, which means they always have a lot of medical expenses and need good food and supplements for the animals. They get hardly any support from fellow citizens and depend on donations from abroad.

Stichting Mr. Darcy en Stichting Djimba slaan de handen ineen. Mr. Darcy helpt wereldwijd dieren door o.a. sterilisatieprojecten te sponsoren, maar biedt ook een thuis aan oude honden. Djimba is sinds 2005 een t(e)huis voor oude, zieke, gehandicapte en getraumatiseerde honden. Djimba zamelt ook hulpgoederen in voor andere opvangcentra. Jeannette Cadee (Mr. Darcy) en Betty Heideman (Djimba) werken al sinds 2000 samen.

To this day, I care for 192 cats on a daily basis, on the Island of Curacao. They are cared for by providing food and water, medical care, Spay and Neuter Programs (TNR). I also take care of community cats, by trapping them and make sure they are spayed and neutered. Furthermore I educate the islanders on how to take care of their feline friends. Donations will be collected by Stichting Save a Stray, and they tranfer the money to Cats of Curacao.

Stichting Superkatten zet zich belangeloos in voor verwilderde zwerfkatten. De katten worden na zichtmelding gevangen en behandeld volgens de TNR methode (Trap Neuter Return). Soms worden ook nestjes met kittens aangetroffen. De kittens worden dan gesocialiseerd en vinden hun weg naar gezinnen die er graag een willen hebben. Edina spends all her time saving animals from the streets in Sarajevo. She is also a volunteer at Praca (horror) shelter where dogs do not get food, medical attention, water, etc. She tries to save as many as possible. In winter Edina feeds the strays at night.
