Edina spends all her time saving animals from the streets in Sarajevo. She is also a volunteer at Praca (horror) shelter where dogs do not get food, medical attention, water, etc. She tries to save as many as possible. In winter Edina feeds the strays at night. Edina has around 130 dogs and 90 cats under her care at pensions and tries to find them good homes. She cannot do this alone, please help her!

Sunshine Animal Refuge Agadir provides safe refuge for over 900 former street dogs, 150 cats, and many rescued equines in the Agadir area. All donations will go to pay for the feeding, care and support of the animals in the refuge. Each month we have to find money to pay food bills, cover the wages of the minimal staff who care for the animals, fuel for the vehicle and any vet bills. If we have secure funding we can hire more staff and do more outreach and rescue work.

Das ACHS kümmert sich um verletzte/kranke Straßenhunde, die nach der Genesung wieder in ihr Rudel zurück gebracht werden. Hunde, die auf der Straße nicht überleben können, werden ausreisefertig gemacht und zur Adoption ausgeschrieben. Auch haben hier bereits einige Pferde und auch zwei Kamele Zuflucht gefunden und lernen nun endlich die Sonnenseite ihres Lebens kennen.

Rusmira is an animal rescuer in Bosnia, where cats and dogs are frequently cruelly treated and abandoned. She rescues abandoned puppies and kittens from the streets and keeps them safe in pension until they can be adopted across Europe. Rusmira currently looks after over 100 dogs and 120 cats. Aid project for the Sava's Safe Haven shelter, which houses 200 animals. They are treated there, sterilized and are looking for a family. Each adoption saves a new unhappy animal. Oana and her family also organize sterilization campaigns and defend the animal cause in schools in their region. Such a "business" entails enormous needs. A small Euro / month is nothing for our wallet but is huge for this refuge! Thanks for them!

Ob wir es wollen, oder nicht, werden es täglich mehr! Wir schaffen kaum, die monatlichen Grundbedürfnisse des Tierheims zu decken! Dalida is a lawyer from Sarajevo who has been involved in protection of animals for more than 15 years and she is one of the rescuers and activists with most experience in Bosnia. Dalida and her mom take care of 140 saved dogs and cats in their shelter Usko's Nest Dog. They really need help with the costs for food, vetbills, medication and supplements, deworming and defleaing, and to hire a worker to help out Dalida's mum, who is working so hard, but can't keep up on her own. We formed as an emergency response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact this has had on the captive Livingstone Lions. These lions were part of a conservation programme which relied on revenue from tourists. However, the tourist industry has disappeared. We have come together to look after these lions and ensure their health and safety.

This is a group dedicated to helping the hundreds of street dogs in a remote shelter in Romania. The shelter does not have a steady flow of funds. This group will attempt to bring in a small amount of steady funding required for food, neutering, vet treatments, and basic care of the dogs and finally helping with adoptions. I collect donations for stray animals in Mauritius. With the group I want to support a friend of mine, Dr. Rashila Vigneshwari Ramchurn. She is a teacher in Mauritius and is one of the few private individuals that take care of stray animals there. This includes feeding, treating and neutering the countless animals that would have died long ago without her help. For 24 years, this animal shelter has only functioned with international aid. Without regular donors, Tamara's shelter is constantly on the verge of bankruptcy: we must help her! In addition to the stress linked to the lack of regular funds in a country at war (7 years), Tamara, her 4 employees and her animals are regularly victims of violence from a local organisation of "dog hunters".
