The SJD Pediatric Center is the first monographic centre for paediatric oncology in Spain (2nd in Europe). 70% of the centre is devoted to care and 30% to research. It has the capacity to care for 400 children and youngsters. Its spaces are designed with the emotional well-being of the children and their families in mind. ACTAYS recauda fondos para financiar la investigación y gracias a personas como tú hemos logrado que 2 universidades estudien Tay-Sachs y Sandhoff. GAB is an association that fights against the mistreatment and abandonment of the Ratonero Bodeguero Andaluz. This breed is used for hunting and when they are "no longer useful" they are abandoned. It is the same problem as with galgos and podencos, except that the bodegueros are not such a well known breed. The money raised goes directly to pay for the dogs' homes, which cost 100 euros per month per dog, plus countless veterinary expenses. Every euro counts to keep saving dogs.

A relative, who was in a shock due to an epileptic attack, let Alba fall from a third floor. Alba saved her life, but a strong brain damage remains on her. Jimena es una niña de 2 añitos con una enfermedad rara, llamada síndrome de Angelman. Este síndrome afecta a 1 de cada 20.000 nacimientos. Su pronóstico es muy duro, con dificultad para caminar, ausencia del lenguaje, retraso metal, hiperactividad y epilepsia entre otros trastornos. A día de hoy no existe cura, y en el 95% de los casos la causa es puro azar. Para paliar todo esto se precisan costosas horas de rehabilitación y terapia, además de la adaptación de elementos utilizados a diario.

Abril is a 8-year-old girl diagnosed with SPG52, with only 55 diagnoses in the world. SPG52 is an ultra-rare disease that causes very serious symptoms such as severe intellectual disability, epileptic seizures and very rapid muscle degradation in the lower body. Abril started walking when she was 3 years old and now at 8 she can hardly move anymore.
