At Rifugio Miletta over 300 animals find freedom and peaceful life, living together in peace and harmony, coming from situations of hardship, suffering, and slavery. Rifugio Miletta is also a Wild Live Rescue Center. The costs are enormous and to continue we need help from all people sensitive to animal rights.

The "La Ninna" Hedgehogs Recovery Center is located in Piedmont in Novello, in the province of Cuneo in the Langhe and is a center specialized in curing the European hedgehog, in their preservation in order to reinsert them (when possible) in nature in their habitat. The idea of creating a place to care for and assist the hedgehogs was born following the discovery of an orphaned hog of a few grams "Ninna", taken care of by the veterinarian Massimo Vacchetta.

Save the Dogs’ fully integrated activities aim to eradicate strays in the south-eastern regions of Romania, restoring dignity to thousands of abandoned animals by rescuing and taking care of them, having them sterilized and then placing them with adoptive families. Save the Dogs also launched Too Many Puppies, in 2019, a program dedicated to preventing an increase in the number of stray dogs in southern Italy and from 2021 a street unit assists dogs belonging to homeless people in Milan.

Everyday a group of special volunteers dedicates time, energies and so much love to 250 cats in the city of Catania. Many are free in their habitat, which is our large Cat Sanctuary, others are fostered in our shelter and our homes. Without any kind of economic help by pubblic Institutions, we carry on thanks to the wonderful support of our adopters and of those who know our work and really wants to help cats. The Animal Sanctuary Capra Libera Tutti is a place where animals which are usually considered as products are saved from exploitation and slaughter and find refuge. About 400 animals live in complete freedom, here they are not considered neither ingredients nor products. For their maintenance, for medical care and for the preservation of the facilities, constant help is needed to ensure that this place can continue to exist and resist. The total costs exceed 250 euros per day.

It was December 2014 and we were a group of friends who volunteered at the Parcocanile Vitadacani in Arese. One evening we found ourselves talking about a news that had saddened us very much: a homeless man had died frozen in Milan, in total indifference. From a shared thought, we felt the need to do something also for human beings in difficulty and so we came up with the idea: to prepare vegan meals, hot drinks and bring them to homeless people.

This is a sanctuary to help abused & abandoned horses and other species. Live 64 equines and other animals in the sanctuary. The approximate cost per horse per month is 120 euros if they are in good health; if there are not, the amount can go up to a few hundreds of euros and even thousands. We are a free animal shelter where around 80 animals removed from the production chain live. At the La Capra Campa farm goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks, quails, pigs, donkeys, cattle, dogs and cats live free. They are our travel companions!
