As per Guinnes Book of World Rekords the Smeura is bearing the mournful title of being the biggest animal shelter of the world. Around 5400 dogs and 600 puppies need around 2.7 tonnes food per day. The staff members are doing an inconceivable job - organizationally, physically and emotionally. Driving around with a castration van and pushing the clearing up of the locals. Every euro is needed. The association Kitmir Tierhilfe Demirtas e.V. was founded in 2012 and helps stray animals in Turkey. We take care of neutering, look after feeding stations, provide medical care and offer a home to stray animals when they cannot survive alone on the street. In our shelter we currently accommodate 72 dogs and 24 cats.

Iwo steht immer zur Verfügung, wenn ein Straßentier oder ein Hund vom Tierheim in Not gerät. Er geht jeden Tag ins Tierheim um zu schauen wie es den Fellnasen geht. Er ist immer zur Stelle, wenn ein Tier medizinische Hilfe braucht. Er begleitet arme Seelen, die ihre letzte Reise antreten müssen.

Mi Mascota ist eine staatlich anerkannte Stiftung, die sich um Tierrettungen, Kastrationen, Aufklärung über das Tierschutzgesetz und dessen Umsetzung kümmert und eine Auffangstation mit ca.250 Tieren unterhält. Sie agiert überwiegend in Santo Domingo, bzw. in der Dominikanischen Republik. Um diese Stiftung finanziell zu unterstützen, wird diese Gruppe gegründet

Unsere Tierschützerin Andra vom Verein Happy Tails Brasov hat ihre Arbeit und ihre privaten Bedürfnisse komplett aufgegeben, da sie das Elend auf den Straßen Rumäniens nicht mehr ertragen konnte. Ihr ganzes Leben sind die Tiere. Jedes gerettete Tier wird bei ihr auf der "Happy Burg" betreut.❤️ Wir sind KEIN Shelter. Viele Hunde und Katzen konnten ein schönes Zuhause finden. Aber auch die nicht vermittelbaren Tiere finden bei ihr ein ZUHAUSE und müssen nicht zurück auf die Straße.

Cvety's and Iva's Dog and Cat Happiness, Bulgaria is an animal welfare organization of two young women who tirelessly sacrifice all their free time and energy in a private animal rescue center for abandoned, sick dogs and cats. About 150 dogs and about 50 cats are in urgent need of financial support for food and medical expenses. Donations are absolutely necessary

Animal welfare goes beyond national borders. Every animal deserves a chance at a dignified life. The association operates a shelter in Tunari, Romania. A maximum of 140 dogs can currently be taken in and cared for there. We take care of dogs that have had an accident or are in need, and we constantly rescue animals from the so-called killing-shelters. In addition, we support and organize castration campaigns and maintain a Germany-wide network of around 100 foster homes.

Wir, der Verein „ein Herz für Hunde“ kämpft gegen die traurige Lage auf der Deponie in Bihac in Bosnien. Hunderte Strassenhunde benötigen dort täglich Futter und Wasser. Neben der täglichen Angst zu verhungern, kommt natürlich auch das ständige Leben in Angst dazu. Da dies in einer Dimension stattfindet, die wir ohne fremde Hilfe nicht stemmen können, benötigen wir immer wieder Menschen mit Herz die uns helfen und spenden möchten.

WHY is a former stray dog. Her mother was rescued heavily pregnant in Campania in 2018, and WHY found a loving home in December 2018. Sunshine Animal Refuge Agadir provides safe refuge for over 900 former street dogs, 150 cats, and many rescued equines in the Agadir area. All donations will go to pay for the feeding, care and support of the animals in the refuge. Each month we have to find money to pay food bills, cover the wages of the minimal staff who care for the animals, fuel for the vehicle and any vet bills. If we have secure funding we can hire more staff and do more outreach and rescue work.

SpecialDogs e.V. stands for sustainable animal welfare at home and abroad – with a focus on Romania and Germany. I am an animal rights activist in Athens and currently take care of 150 of my own cats and also a few cat colonies and other strays. Savethedogsbih is a non-profit organization in Bosnia. We rescue dogs that have been abandoned, abused and chained up. For over 6 years, the founder Bruno Jelovic and his team have been caring for over 1000 dogs. Our dogs are not kept in kennels, but live on our ranches where they can just be dogs. We are committed to growing and plan to build more ranches to accommodate more dogs.
