Soy Marco y Tay-Sachs ha marcado mi vida ya que mi hijo Liam la padecía. En España hay, en este momento, 13 niños y niñas afectados por las enfermedades de Tay-Sachs y Sandhoff. ACTAYS recauda fondos para financiar la investigación y gracias a personas como tú hemos logrado que 2 universidades estudien Tay-Sachs y Sandhoff. Al Sur de Etiopía, en una región rural y con muy pocos recursos económicos, se encuentra el Hospital de Gambo, hospital misionero que ofrece asistencia sanitaria a todos los habitantes de la región e incluso recibe a las personas más pobres de zonas alejadas al tratarse de uno de los hospitales más baratos del país. La población padece desnutrición severa, deshidratación, malaria, tuberculosis, sida, neumonía, meningitis, y son los niños la población más vulnerable y afectada.

El CSA La Piluka es un espacio que, desde el 2000, viene desarrollando una labor de activismo social y vecinal en el Barrio del Pilar (Madrid). Queremos dar a conocer la enfermedad de Marcos. Es una enfermedad rara, SATB2, que conocimos cuando él tenía 8 años. A partir de ahí necesitamos más ayudas para que tenga una mejor calidad de vida. Marcos no habla, tiene problemas de comprensión, de conducta. musculatura blanda, epilepsia, retraso psicomotor, mala dentición... Cada día nacen 10 bebés con cardiopatías congénitas en España. En su primer año de vida, 1 de cada 3 necesitará ser ingresado lejos de su casa una media de 26 días. En Menudos Corazones, trabajamos para mejorar la vida de estos niños, niñas y sus familias. SPG52 is an ultra-rare disease that causes very serious symptoms such as severe intellectual disability, epileptic seizures and very rapid muscle degradation in the lower body. Abril started walking when she was 3 years old and now at 7 she can hardly move anymore.

Every year, more than three million children under the age of five die from malnutrition or malnutrition-related causes worldwide.
