Al Sur de Etiopía, en una región rural y con muy pocos recursos económicos, se encuentra el Hospital de Gambo, hospital misionero que ofrece asistencia sanitaria a todos los habitantes de la región e incluso recibe a las personas más pobres de zonas alejadas al tratarse de uno de los hospitales más baratos del país. La población padece desnutrición severa, deshidratación, malaria, tuberculosis, sida, neumonía, meningitis, y son los niños la población más vulnerable y afectada.

Nuestro lema es Niños contra la Laminopatía, en concreto del tipo L-CMD. Recaudamos fondos para la investigación de esta grave enfermedad, rara entre las raras, con el sueño de encontrar curación a la misma. No se conocen más de 50 ó 60 casos registrados en el mundo, lo que hace que ni los laboratorios farmacéuticos ni los estados investiguen esta enfermedad, todo debemos conseguirlo los padres con fondos privados. Es una enfermedad degenerativa que en pocos años tiene un desenlace fatal.

The SJD Pediatric Center is the first monographic centre for paediatric oncology in Spain (2nd in Europe). 70% of the centre is devoted to care and 30% to research. It has the capacity to care for 400 children and youngsters. Its spaces are designed with the emotional well-being of the children and their families in mind. Our aim is that the children have more options to overcome cancer with less after-effects. Your euro helps to carry out the humanisation programmes and new treatments. Will you join us?

This group was brought about to help the food banks. The idea is simple: if you join us, for each euro donated each month, the Occident Foundation will donate another to buy food, up to a maximum of 100.000 euros, while the unemployment rate remains higher than 15%.

12 years of war in Syria have left millions of victims and 5.5 million refugees. Since then, donations have been made in this group to assist them through harsh winters without heating or during the pandemic. Their situation is now even more critical after the earthquakes in February. We are a group of people affected by multiple sclerosis, a neurodegenerative disease experienced by some 50,000 people in Spain. Two-thirds of the 1,800 people who each year learn they have MS are under the age of 40; three out of four of them are women. GAEM promotes research into treatments for this disease, and seeks to improve the quality of life of affected people and their families. Yemen és la major emergència humanitària del planeta i peteix epidèmia de còlera i una mortalitat infantil esgarrifosa. Amb el teu EURO comprem i omplim DIPÒSITS D'AIGUA en camps de desplaçats i en escoles. Ja en tenim 50 en 4 camps i 5 escoles, i més de 9000 persenes tenen aigua. (800.000 litres/mes).
