Im Süden Äthiopiens, in einer ländlichen Region mit sehr geringen wirtschaftlichen Ressourcen, befindet sich das Gambo-Missionskrankenhaus. Es bietet allen Einwohnern der Region erschwingliche Gesundheitsversorgung und nimmt selbst die ärmsten Menschen aus entlegenen Gebieten auf. Die Bevölkerung leidet unter schwerer Unterernährung, Dehydration, Malaria, Tuberkulose, AIDS, Lungenentzündung, Meningitis usw. Und Kinder sind am stärksten gefährdet und am häufigsten betroffen.

We are a group of people affected by multiple sclerosis, a neurodegenerative disease experienced by some 50,000 people in Spain. Two-thirds of the 1,800 people who each year learn they have MS are under the age of 40; three out of four of them are women. GAEM promotes research into treatments for this disease, and seeks to improve the quality of life of affected people and their families. As hungry people continue to flee the atrocities committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in El Fasher, our teams are providing urgent care to those who have managed to reach the town of Tawila. There, we are witnessing extreme levels of acute malnutrition, the most serious example to date of the nutritional crisis that has been ravaging Sudan since the start of the war.

Im Senegal legen Hunderte von Kindern mehr als 5 km zu Fuß zurück, um zur Schule zu gelangen. Sie stehen sehr früh auf, um ohne richtiges Frühstück loszulaufen. Nach Schulschluss müssen sie denselben Weg zurücklegen. Diese Gruppe möchte Bicicletas sin Fronteras unterstützen, den Initiator eines Schulbus-Systems mit Fahrrädern. Mit jedem gesammelten Betrag von 240 Euro wird ein Baobike gesponsert, das Schülern in ländlichen Gebieten Senegals den gleichberechtigten Zugang zur Schule ermöglicht.

Diese Gruppe wurde von Monika gegruendet, um die Schule mit mittlerweile 700 Kindern zu unterstuetzen und deren Bildung abzusichern. Unser Traumziel ist es mindestens 3000 Teamer zu bekommen, womit wir eine monatliche finanzielle Basis schaffen wuerden. Als Teamer kannst du mit dem Wert von einem Kaffee weniger im Monat dazu beitragen, den Kindern aus einer der niedrigsten Gesellschaftsschichten in Indien zu helfen und ihnen somit eine bessere Zukunft zu ermoeglichen.
