We are an NGO that provides protection, food and veterinary care to abandoned animals. We are 100% against sacrifice. During 20 years of work we have rescued more than 6000 dogs, cats and other animals from hunger, disease, abandonment and imminent death, and we have found homes for them throughout Europe. Los animales abandonados son a menudo las víctimas silenciosas de nuestra sociedad, quedando desamparados a su suerte. Desde la Lliga per a la protecció d’animals i plantes de Barcelona llevamos más de 80 años trabajando por y para ellos. Pero para cuidar de nuestros animales en el refugio necesitamos de vuestras aportaciones económicas para pagar veterinarios, comida y el mantenimiento del propio refugio. Following Israel's relentless and indiscriminate attacks on Gaza over several months of war, families are drinking unsafe water and going days without food. The health system has completely collapsed amid outbreaks of disease and serious injuries caused by the constant bombardment. Despite this, our teams continue to work tirelessly to save lives.

Wir haben eine große Herausforderung: ein spezielles Zentrum zur Behandlung von Krebs im Kindesalter zu schaffen. Unser Ziel ist es, die Heilungschancen zu erhöhen und eine ganzheitliche und persönliche Betreuung zu bieten, die niemanden aus finanziellen Gründen ausschließt. Das Zentrum wird jedes Jahr 400 neue Kinder aufnehmen und soll u.a. über 40 Zimmer 8 TPH-Kameras und 20 externe Konsultationen anbieten. Wir hoffen, dass es im 2019 Realität wird - wir brauchen die Hilfe aller.

Das Projekt will die Mütter- und Kindersterblichkeit zu senken. Keine Mutter darf mehr während Schwangerschaft und Geburt wegen vermeidbarer Ursachen sterben. Mutter sein und leben können! Sensibilisierung der Gemeinde für die Wichtigkeit von Vorsorgeuntersuchungen und in einem Gesundheitszentrum zu gebären. Ausbildung von Hebammen, Versorgung der ländlichen Gesundheitszentren und des Krankenhauses von Gambo mit nötigem Material für Entbindungen und deren Komplikationen sowie Krankentransporte.

A l'Associació de Malalts i Trasplantats Hepàtics de Catalunya facilitem allotjament en pisos compartits a malalts i familiars necessitats trasplantats, en llista d'espera i d'altres malalties quan hi ha disponibilitat, que viuen lluny dels hospitals de Barcelona. Tenim tres pisos, on cada família disposa d'habitació doble amb menjador, cuina i banys compartits. Fomentem l'ajuda mútua i compten amb atenció psicosocial.

In South Sudan, the desperation caused by lack of food, violence, and insecurity drives children into extreme hopelessness. 100% of them suffer from hunger, 80% have thought about suicide, and 33% of children under 12 have already attempted it at least once. With just €0.50 a day, we provide them with one meal at school and help them continue their education, giving them a chance for a future. In small gestures, like giving €1, great miracles are born.

Afghan families threatened with death had to flee after the Taliban came to power. While they wait for an appointment at the embassies to be able to go to a safe country, their children are out of school and without being able to socialize , because they are not accepted by the public system. PH pays €260 per child enrolled in school per year (academic expenses in private schools and uniform), we want to help 50 children. Can you help us? We need €13,000 every year.
