Patas Callejeras was created in 2018 to share the daily adventures of a manager and her cats in a feline colony, where they are fed, sterilized, dewormed, and receive veterinary care. Although they don't live in a conventional home, the colony is their home, and they deserve the same rights, care, and affection. Together, we can make a difference in their well-being and future.

Abril is a 8-year-old girl diagnosed with SPG52, with only 55 diagnoses in the world. SPG52 is an ultra-rare disease that causes very serious symptoms such as severe intellectual disability, epileptic seizures and very rapid muscle degradation in the lower body. Abril started walking when she was 3 years old and now at 8 she can hardly move anymore.

We are a small group working for the well-being of feral/abandoned cats in Valencia. Using the TNR approach, we began 7 years ago with our neighbourhood colony of some 20 cats; many of whom you can see in the updates. Control of our own colony's population means that we are now able to help other street cats: trapping /sterilising, seeking fostering / adoption where possible, treating sick animals, relocating others to controlled locations where they can be safe. Thanks for supporting us.
