Guzmán is a boy with a rare disease: Hyper-IgM syndrome, an immunodeficiency that weakens his immune system. On 25/09/2024 he received a bone marrow transplant in Barcelona. We are a family from Spain. Our son Mateo, has a genetic mutation in the NEK8 gene, considered ultra rare, that is damaging his organs.
