Maisha Roots is an NGO that combines the efforts of two entities, a Spanish one (Maisha Roots Spain) and a Tanzanian one (FYWCO), with the common goal of fostering development in Tanzania. Its origins are found in the local decision of establishing a prosperous community to achieve the development of the community where we work. In Arusha, Tanzania, the projects are developed and from Spain we are working to achieve the dissemination network and media that ensure us the pursuit of our objective.

Al Sur de Etiopía, en una región rural y con muy pocos recursos económicos, se encuentra el Hospital de Gambo, hospital misionero que ofrece asistencia sanitaria a todos los habitantes de la región e incluso recibe a las personas más pobres de zonas alejadas al tratarse de uno de los hospitales más baratos del país. La población padece desnutrición severa, deshidratación, malaria, tuberculosis, sida, neumonía, meningitis, y son los niños la población más vulnerable y afectada.

Yemen is the biggest humanitarian emergency on the planet and is suffering from a cholera epidemic and shocking infant mortality. Eso «raro» que palpó en el pequeño Pablo resultó ser un neuroblastoma, un cáncer infantil que afecta a las células del sistema nervioso. Un año y una semana hace que les cayó ese jarro de agua fría.
