The "La Ninna" Hedgehogs Recovery Center is located in Piedmont in Novello, in the province of Cuneo in the Langhe and is a center specialized in curing the European hedgehog, in their preservation in order to reinsert them (when possible) in nature in their habitat. It was December 2014 and we were a group of friends who volunteered at the Parcocanile Vitadacani in Arese. One evening we found ourselves talking about a news that had saddened us very much: a homeless man had died frozen in Milan, in total indifference. From a shared thought, we felt the need to do something also for human beings in difficulty and so we came up with the idea: to prepare vegan meals, hot drinks and bring them to homeless people.

"E a pensarci, che pazzia È una favola, è solo fantasia E chi è saggio, chi è maturo lo sa Non può esistere nella realtà.." E invece può esistere, "si può fare"! E l'esperienza da volontaria in un rifugio per animali considerati "da reddito" me lo ha dimostrato. Ed è lì che è maturata la "folle" idea di essere una goccia nel mare, di creare un piccolo rifugio dove poter accogliere animali altrimenti destinati allo sfruttamento ed alla sofferenza.

Gruppo nato per chi volesse supportarci nel recupero di piccioni e piccione disabili,vittime di incidenti,denutrizione e malattia. Adesso ne ospitiamo stabilmente 12 ma moltə altrə sono statə e saranno rimessi in salute e liberatə. Alcunə vivono in voliera esterna,altrə non autosufficienti e più fragili invece vivono con noi. Lə piccionə resistono alle città che lə considerano meri esseri infestanti e noi saremo sempre dalla loro parte a rivendicare il diritto alla vita per chiunque
