Rifugio Chico Mendes ODV

What is the aid used for?

Rifugio Chico Mendes ODV

Just outside Florence, the Chico Mendes Sanctuary welcomes chickens, geese, ducks, rabbits, pigs, horses, goats, and sheep rescued from intensive farming and human exploitation. They are not guests here: they are free inhabitants, with the right to life and dignity. Every day, more than 150 animals need food, veterinary care, and safe spaces. Expenses exceed €4,000 per month. Our goal is to reach 1,000 supporters—people who, with just €1 per month, help us create a stable foundation to ensure freedom, safety, and well-being for all residents. With your contribution, we can: - provide nutritious, species-appropriate food; - ensure timely veterinary care; - maintain and improve the sanctuary's facilities; - protect the freedom and dignity of every animal. Join the Chico Mendes Sanctuary team and become part of a community that fights against exploitation and defends the life and freedom of all sentient beings.
