NTT DATA colleagues joined forces to do our bit in the COVID crisis by supporting UNICEF who worked with the Spanish Government to provide supplies, to protect our health professionals. At the moment, their needs are different and we will donate them all the amount already collected so that they can attend to the different emergencies they are working with. Afterwards, we will close this Teaming Group. Thank you very much for your help during this time and for your support at times like these.

More than 620 patients and their families suffer intestinal failure in Spain. This pathology prevents them from feeding and hydrating themselves naturally. Therefore, they depend on a pump that administers the necessary nutrients intravenously and, sometimes, they need a transplant of up to 6 organs to survive. NUPA is the only national association of affected people. With your help, we will cover the needs of admitted families, providing emergency psychosocial support. Collaborate!

The health crisis caused by the coronavirus revealed a much deeper crisis. Many families were not prepared for all children to follow their classes virtually, as they lacked devices and internet access at home. Currently, we continue working in this area by funding digital licenses and providing equipment to secondary school students who, due to their family's economic situation, cannot access these essential resources.

Abril is a 9-year-old girl diagnosed with SPG52, with only 55 diagnoses in the world. SPG52 is an ultra-rare disease that causes very serious symptoms such as severe intellectual disability, epileptic seizures and very rapid muscle degradation in the lower body. Abril started walking when she was 3 years old and now at 9 she can hardly move anymore.

Our daughter suffers from Osteogenesis Imperfecta, better known as brittle bone disease. 100% of the collected funds go to entities and projects committed to improving the quality of life of patients.

La hipertension pulmonar es una enfemedad rara, progresiva, sin cura y mortal que la padecen tanto niños como adultos....se van estrechando las arterias pulmonares y puede producir fallo cardiaco...sus sintomas son cansancio, asfixia, desmayos, labios azules, y se tarda en diagnosticar porque se suele confundir con otro tipos de enfermedades como asma epilepsia etc......Necesitan encontrar una cura se tiene que investigar ayuda a que esto se consiga. Da vida a estos niños.

Alba is an inteligent funny and amusing girl. Although we well could say “was”, as a terrible tragic accident happened on fateful march 21st 2016. A relative, who was in a shock due to an epileptic attack, let Alba fall from a third floor. Alba saved her life, but a strong brain damage remains on her. Now, we have a long neurorehabilitation process left ahead to see how much she can recover and become herself again a bit. Help us!

The SJD Pediatric Center is the first monographic centre for paediatric oncology in Spain (2nd in Europe). 70% of the centre is devoted to care and 30% to research. It has the capacity to care for 400 children and youngsters. Its spaces are designed with the emotional well-being of the children and their families in mind. Our aim is that the children have more options to overcome cancer with less after-effects. Will you join us?

Syria is at a crucial turning point in its recent history after the fall of the Al-Assad regime, with many challenges still ahead. 14 years of conflict have left 7 mill. people internally displaced and 16 mill. in need of humanitarian assistance. With increasing movements of Syrian refugee families returning to the country with minimal resources, a critical socio-economic situation and a winter that further complicates the situation, immediate assistance is urgently needed to protect them.

After the impact of the DANA storm in our country, NTT DATA employees created this Teaming Group to support those who lost everything, in partnership with the Spanish Red Cross.
