We have been helping children and families in Romania for over 20 years. This is a project mix of family support, 7 children's homes with a total of 54 children, 3 afternoon programs with 170 children and construction programs to improve living conditions. We help where the need is greatest... directly and unbureaucratically with food, building materials, educational support and medical problems. No child should go hungry, no child should be forgotten. Nel sud dell'Etiopia, in una regione rurale con pochissime risorse economiche, c'è l'ospedale Gambo, un ospedale missionario che offre assistenza sanitaria a tutti gli abitanti della regione e riceve anche le persone più povere da zone remote. Uno degli ospedali più economici del paese. La popolazione soffre di grave malnutrizione, disidratazione, malaria, tubercolosi, AIDS, polmonite, meningite e i bambini sono la popolazione più vulnerabile e colpita.

Non esiste una cura, ma un team di ricerca dell'Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (Barcellona) sta per avviare uno studio clinico per verificare se i trattamenti già in commercio possono aiutare a rallentare questa malattia invalidante. GAB is an association that fights against the mistreatment and abandonment of the Ratonero Bodeguero Andaluz. This breed is used for hunting and when they are "no longer useful" they are abandoned. It is the same problem as with galgos and podencos, except that the bodegueros are not such a well known breed. The money raised goes directly to pay for the dogs' homes, which cost 100 euros per month per dog, plus countless veterinary expenses. Every euro counts to keep saving dogs.
