We have been helping children and families in Romania for over 20 years. This is a project mix of family support, 7 children's homes with a total of 54 children, 3 afternoon programs with 170 children and construction programs to improve living conditions. We help where the need is greatest... directly and unbureaucratically with food, building materials, educational support and medical problems. No child should go hungry, no child should be forgotten. Al Sur de Etiopía, en una región rural y con muy pocos recursos económicos, se encuentra el Hospital de Gambo, hospital misionero que ofrece asistencia sanitaria a todos los habitantes de la región e incluso recibe a las personas más pobres de zonas alejadas al tratarse de uno de los hospitales más baratos del país. La población padece desnutrición severa, deshidratación, malaria, tuberculosis, sida, neumonía, meningitis, y son los niños la población más vulnerable y afectada.

CADASIL és una malaltia rara hereditària que afecta les artèries de tot el cos, però els seus símptomes només es produeixen al cervell, sent característics els ictus de repetició i la demència en edats primerenques (cap als 45-50 anys). NO té cura, però un equip de recerca de l'Hospital del la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (Barcelona) iniciarà un assaig clínic, per veure si tractaments ja comercialitzats serveixen per frenar aquesta incapacitant malaltia. GAB is an association that fights against the mistreatment and abandonment of the Ratonero Bodeguero Andaluz. This breed is used for hunting and when they are "no longer useful" they are abandoned. It is the same problem as with galgos and podencos, except that the bodegueros are not such a well known breed. The money raised goes directly to pay for the dogs' homes, which cost 100 euros per month per dog, plus countless veterinary expenses. Every euro counts to keep saving dogs.
