Fathers and mothers from all over Spain, aware of the seriousness of our children, we decided to fight to give them a better and hopeful future. That is why we have joined together in order to raise funds through the Duchenne Parent Project for research. Nuestro lema es Niños contra la Laminopatía, en concreto del tipo L-CMD. Recaudamos fondos para la investigación de esta grave enfermedad, rara entre las raras, con el sueño de encontrar curación a la misma. No se conocen más de 50 ó 60 casos registrados en el mundo, lo que hace que ni los laboratorios farmacéuticos ni los estados investiguen esta enfermedad, todo debemos conseguirlo los padres con fondos privados. Es una enfermedad degenerativa que en pocos años tiene un desenlace fatal.

Marta is the first child diagnosed with Opitz C Syndrome (www.asopitzc.org) in Spain. It is a serious and unknown disease that makes Marta be totally dependent. We promote the research carried out by a team from the University of Barcelona. To continue with the project, it is essential to continue raising funds for this research team. The first objective, to locate genetic mutations, is already being achieved. Now, we must go on to find therapies that help these children.

BRAH is a grassroots initiative offering solidarity to people in search of refuge,without limits, exceptions or excuses. The money we raise will be used to provide to whom is seekeng refuge in Spain.
