Im Süden Äthiopiens, in einer ländlichen Region mit sehr geringen wirtschaftlichen Ressourcen, befindet sich das Gambo-Missionskrankenhaus. Es bietet allen Einwohnern der Region erschwingliche Gesundheitsversorgung und nimmt selbst die ärmsten Menschen aus entlegenen Gebieten auf. Die Bevölkerung leidet unter schwerer Unterernährung, Dehydration, Malaria, Tuberkulose, AIDS, Lungenentzündung, Meningitis usw. Und Kinder sind am stärksten gefährdet und am häufigsten betroffen.

Son muchos los animales mayores y ancianos que tenemos en la protectora, estas criaturas permanecerán hasta el fin de sus días con nosotras, tienen problemas de huesos ( movilidad) de visión, alimentaria, otitis y dermatitis crónicas, tienen mucha medicación y cuidados especiales, alguno de ellos usan pañales para dormir. We are a family from Spain. Our son Mateo, has a genetic mutation in the NEK8 gene, considered ultra rare, that is damaging his organs. When he was 9 months old, he had a liver transplant and when he was 3 years old, a kidney transplant. In a future he could need a heart transplant, also. There is a research team that can help him to stop his illness but they need funding (€62,000). Your contribution can save him.

Ya está en marcha la construcción de la biblioteca de El Aaiún. An educational and artistic initiative for social inclusion. Xamfrà is a social and educational project that uses music and the performing arts to promote social inclusion in a very multicultural community. We work with people in vulnerable situations and at risk of social exclusion. Currently, 300 children and young people from 24 different countries are participating in our activities. Sensibilisierung der Gemeinde für die Wichtigkeit von Vorsorgeuntersuchungen und in einem Gesundheitszentrum zu gebären. Ausbildung von Hebammen, Versorgung der ländlichen Gesundheitszentren und des Krankenhauses von Gambo mit nötigem Material für Entbindungen und deren Komplikationen sowie Krankentransporte.
