SOS Primates is a non-profit organization that supports the work of the Lwiro Primate Rehabilitation Center (CRPL). Located in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, the center is home to more than 90 chimpanzees and 100 monkeys rescued from poaching and illegal trafficking. In this war-stricken area, the CRPL employs more than 50 local workers and represents the only hope for the protection and survival of these fascinating animals.

Somos una pequeña asociación sin ánimo de lucro, situada en Brenes (Sevilla), una zona en la que existe un gravísimo problema de abandono y maltrato hacia los animales. Carecemos de apoyo institucional, así como de refugio propio. Los perros y gatos rescatados van a parar a casas de acogida, una nave prestada acondicionada, y la mayoría a residencias de pago que nos llevan a tener gastos mensuales entre alojamiento, manutención y veterinarios que ascienden a varios miles de euros.

As hungry people continue to flee the atrocities committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in El Fasher, our teams are providing urgent care to those who have managed to reach the town of Tawila. There, we are witnessing extreme levels of acute malnutrition, the most serious example to date of the nutritional crisis that has been ravaging Sudan since the start of the war.

Rainfer houses more than 100 primates that have suffered mistreatment, abandonment, loneliness and lack of basic care for many years. They cannot be returned to their home areas, their lives have been stolen, so we must bear the cost of their lifelong care. 3 tons of fruit and vegetables are consumed per month, which together with other necessary foods such as feed, legumes or rice, represent an average cost of €4,000 each month. Gombe was found in a garbage can when he was a baby and has always suffered from adjustment problems with his kind due to suffering from a rare neurological disease: Alien Hand Syndrome. This disease is degenerative, and requires several daily medications, such as antiepileptics and tranquilizers, which will increase throughout his life, to control these crises and improve his quality of life. Amb el creixement global de les poblacions humanes i les seva interacció sobre el medi, els canvis d'usos dels terrenys, l'utilització de verins pel control de proliferacions de rosegadors als camps agraris i la seva persecució al nidificar en llocs que no interesan fan de l'òliba hagi reduït molt les seves poblacions. Amb el Grup de Natura del Solsonès hem començat aquest projecte fabricant caixes nius, realitzant seguiment de l'espècie i habilitant nius a cases particulars. SALVEM LES ÒLIBES!

We are the Pyrenees Zoo Foundation, the biggest wildlife refuge in Catalonia. Every year we rescue hundreds of injured or orphaned animals; some return to the wild, but others need to stay with us forever. We currently care more than 290 residents, and your help guarantees the daily food they need to live healthily and comfortably.
