Girls in Kasenda miss an average of 7 weeks of school each year because they do not have access to menstrual hygiene products, which has a negative impact on their academic performance, as well as undermining their confidence and dignity. Despite the ceasefire, Gaza continues to suffer extreme hardship. After months of attacks, the Gazan population has been traumatised, wounded and exposed to the elements just as winter approaches.
