Im Süden Äthiopiens, in einer ländlichen Region mit sehr geringen wirtschaftlichen Ressourcen, befindet sich das Gambo-Missionskrankenhaus. Es bietet allen Einwohnern der Region erschwingliche Gesundheitsversorgung und nimmt selbst die ärmsten Menschen aus entlegenen Gebieten auf. Die Bevölkerung leidet unter schwerer Unterernährung, Dehydration, Malaria, Tuberkulose, AIDS, Lungenentzündung, Meningitis usw. Und Kinder sind am stärksten gefährdet und am häufigsten betroffen.

Bei Teaming verändern mehr als 430.000 Menschen mit 1 € pro Monat Leben. Seit über 13 Jahren unterstützen wir soziale Projekte aller Art und ermöglichen ihnen völlig kostenlos und dauerhaft finanzielle Hilfe. Gemeinsam haben wir bereits mehr als 70 Millionen Euro gesammelt – und solange soziale Projekte unsere Unterstützung brauchen, werden wir an ihrer Seite stehen. A consecuencia de esto Elvira se ve obligada a vivir en una situación de gran aislamiento, por lo que en muchos medios se la ha llamado “la chica burbuja".

El objetivo es proporcionar documentación legal, escolarización, acompañamiento, atención médica y nutricional y colonias de verano a niños y niñas en situación de alta vulnerabilidad del municipio de Dioulacolon, en la región de Kolda, Alta Casamance, Senegal. Dicho programa de protección y educación se lleva a cabo a través del empoderamiento de jóvenes y mujeres de la región con la intervención de adultos comprometidos pertenecientes a su propia red social.
