La vida nos cambió en menos de 24 horas...2 veces... Aitana nació sana pero una noche su vida cambió. En 2020, teniendo 4 años y medio, una sepsis meningocócica casi se lleva su vida, consiguió sobrevivir con secuelas irreversibles. Una amputación de una pierna y daños internos en la otra. 3 años después, su papá, Fran, tras perder sensibilidad y movilidad de pecho hacia abajo, le diagnosticaron un tumor que le comprimió la médula y le causó una lesión medular. Mateo wurde mit einer äußerst seltenen Mutation des Nek8-Gens geboren, die zu einer Schädigung seiner Organe führt. Es gibt weder Studien noch Forschungsergebnisse, keine Behandlungsmöglichkeiten und kein Heilmittel… Im Alter von 9 Monaten erhielt er eine Lebertransplantation und mit 3 Jahren eine Nierentransplantation. In Zukunft wird er eine Herzoperation und möglicherweise eine Herztransplantation benötigen.
