We trap, neuter and return to try to control the population but we also respond to cries for help from people who find unwell, injured, dumped and starving cats and kittens. Durante la pandemia me volví una loca de los gatos y ahora me encargo de cuidar lo mejor que puedo a todos los callejeros de mi pueblo. He convertido mi casa en un resort gatuno para que cualquier gatito del pueblo pueda encontrar refugio, comida y agua las 24h del día. Conexión felina de Mislata es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro, compuesta por unos pocos vecinos, dedicada al control y alimentación de las colonias felinas de Mislata. Hemos logrado controlar algunas colonias enteras, esterilizando a sus gatos, nos quedan algunas por terminar. No disponemos de refugio y apenas tenemos casas de acogida, intentamos atender a los gatos de nuestras colonias, pero no llegamos a todo, sin vuestra ayuda no podremos conseguirlo. Nuestro trabajo consiste en dar una oportunidad a todos aquellos gatos sociables que alguna vez alguien se deshizo de ellos. Llegan a nuestra "Casa Refugio" para curarse de sus heridas, de las que se ven, y de las que no. Para posteriormente poder darles una nueva oportunidad en un hogar responsable. So we will use the money of this group to buy feed to feed our colonies that are currently 2, one of about 20 cats and another of about 15. El Jardinet dels Gats es un espacio emblemático de la ciudad de Barcelona. Un espacio idílico donde iniciamos nuestro proyecto a mediados del año 2005. La entidad como tal se constituyó en enero de 2008 de la mano de voluntarios que cuidaban gatos de la calle y que se reubicaron en la colonia protegida del mismo nombre. Actualmente el proyecto de El Jardinet del Gats va más allá, gestionando otras colonias y siendo un referente en el movimiento de protección de animales en la Ciudad Condal.
