En el centro tenemos varios ejemplares de tortugas marinas que se están recuperando de diferentes lesiones hasta que puedan volver a su casa, el mar. En el hospital de AMUS ingresan anualmente más de 2000 ejemplares; desde sus inicios se ha formado un equipo de profesionales apoyado por voluntariado y estudiantes que ha revolucionado la manera de atender fauna herida con medicina de innovación y excelencia apoyada en técnicas de vanguardia. La responsabilidad en cada animal operado, algunos de ellos muy amenazados y devueltos a la Naturaleza la hacen ser una entidad resolutiva, con una contribución real a la conservación de la biodiversidad.

Cada año 7.000 aves, mamíferos, reptiles y anfibios (casi veinte animales al día de media) ingresan en el Hospital de Fauna Salvaje de GREFA, en Majadahonda (Madrid), para ser atendidos de las más diversas lesiones o patologías. La prioridad de nuestros veterinarios y rehabilitadores de fauna, asistidos por el voluntariado de GREFA, es devolver a su hábitat natural a esta fauna, una vez que vuelven a alcanzar las condiciones idóneas para la vida en libertad. Sono una volontaria che si occupa quotidianamente di più di 50 gatti randagi situati in due colonie a Bagnoli (Na) e a Pozzuoli. Mi occupo di sfamarli, sterilizzarli e dare loro cure veterinarie quando serve. Oltre a ciò, recupero cuccioli sul territorio, li accudisco, li porto dal veterinario per le cure di cui hanno bisogno e cerco loro adozione. Chiedo un piccolo supporto a tutti gli amanti di animali e gatti, perchè da sola non riesco più ad assicurare loro tutto quanto serve.

The Animal Sanctuary Capra Libera Tutti is a place where animals which are usually considered as products are saved from exploitation and slaughter and find refuge. About 400 animals live in complete freedom, here they are not considered neither ingredients nor products. For their maintenance, for medical care and for the preservation of the facilities, constant help is needed to ensure that this place can continue to exist and resist. The total costs exceed 250 euros per day.
