Asena Protectora was born from the care of our spiritual wolf, a protector who has many illusions and a great desire to save lives. Our common goal is to rescue the animals, give them a second chance and find them a family where they can be loved and happy. We also focus on feral cats, carrying out the CES (Capture, Sterilization and Release) program.

Having a Food Bank for animals is just as important as it is for people. Every month, we help in different parts of Spain those who care for furry friends and need support for food or veterinary expenses . We try to meet the vital needs of people living in extreme poverty.   At present hundreds of services are carried out daily in the Center and Social Dining Room and the Cas Vicari Family Assistance Center and Food Bank.   They are given shelter, breakfast, snacks, lunch, dinner, psychological attention, social technical attention, work orientation and a decent place where they can normalize their situation.   Tel. 637634232 - 610046105

As hungry people continue to flee the atrocities committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in El Fasher, our teams are providing urgent care to those who have managed to reach the town of Tawila. There, we are witnessing extreme levels of acute malnutrition, the most serious example to date of the nutritional crisis that has been ravaging Sudan since the start of the war.

To be specific: the basic food of these little ones, consisted only of a bowl of rice with Dhal, (a lentil-based soup). In South Sudan, the desperation caused by lack of food, violence, and insecurity drives children into extreme hopelessness. 100% of them suffer from hunger, 80% have thought about suicide, and 33% of children under 12 have already attempted it at least once. With just €0.50 a day, we provide them with one meal at school and help them continue their education, giving them a chance for a future. In small gestures, like giving €1, great miracles are born.
