WATER projects propose awareness campaigns for the prevention of violence and promotion of basic human rights. SEED projects provide practical tools through training opportunities for communities.

Im Süden Äthiopiens, in einer ländlichen Region mit sehr geringen wirtschaftlichen Ressourcen, befindet sich das Gambo-Missionskrankenhaus. Es bietet allen Einwohnern der Region erschwingliche Gesundheitsversorgung und nimmt selbst die ärmsten Menschen aus entlegenen Gebieten auf. Die Bevölkerung leidet unter schwerer Unterernährung, Dehydration, Malaria, Tuberkulose, AIDS, Lungenentzündung, Meningitis usw. Und Kinder sind am stärksten gefährdet und am häufigsten betroffen.

I'm Martin, they call me Tintin, I'm 4 years old. I was born with some malformations and one of them was a cleft lip, for which they operated on me when I was 3 months old. They had given my parents full assurance that it would be a simple operation, but something went wrong and I ended up in the Ucip with mechanical ventilation and deep sedation, and one day, they accidentally extubate me and I went into cardiorespiratory arrest for 15 min, and because of that accident I have cerebral palsy.

In South Sudan, the desperation caused by lack of food, violence, and insecurity drives children into extreme hopelessness. 100% of them suffer from hunger, 80% have thought about suicide, and 33% of children under 12 have already attempted it at least once. With just €0.50 a day, we provide them with one meal at school and help them continue their education, giving them a chance for a future. In small gestures, like giving €1, great miracles are born.

Darío tiene solo 2 años y una enfermedad ultra-rara y sin cura llamada FOP ( Fibrodisplasia Osificante Progresiva), los músculos, ligamentos, tendones y articulaciones se osifican formando hueso, hasta que crean un segundo esqueleto que les inmoviliza. En España hay unos 40 casos, no tiene cura ni tratamiento e irreversible. Se puede dar por brotes espontáneos o causados por un golpe, vacuna, operación. Necesitamos visibilidad e investigación para un tratamiento ya que hay varios en proyecto.

Ningún bebé debería nacer a la luz de una vela. Encendamos el sol Una madre. Un bebé a punto de nacer. Una cesárea urgente. Y de repente… se va la luz. Esto pasa en el Hospital de Gambo, en Etiopía. Queremos cambiarlo instalando energía solar. ☀️ Dona y ayúdanos a que la vida siempre nazca con luz. Hay lugares donde los hospitales tienen robots quirúrgicos. Y hay lugares donde las cesáreas se hacen con una linterna. El Hospital de Gambo necesita energía solar. No es tecnología. Es dignidad.

Cuando a un niño le diagnostican cáncer, su vida se llena de hospitales durante años. Se separa de sus amigos, de su colegio y de su rutina. La Fundación Blas Méndez Ponce entra cada fin de semana en los hospitales y también los saca de allí, con actividades y salidas que les devuelven momentos de infancia. Con 200€ al mes hacemos posibles 4 tardes completas de actividades en hospitales, acompañando a niños con cáncer. Con solo 1€ al mes, tú también formas parte.
