El nostre lema és Nens contra la Laminopatia, en concret del tipus L-CMD. Recaptem fons per a la investigació d'aquesta greu malaltia, rara entre les rares, amb el somni de trobar-li curació. Es coneixen pocs casos registrats al món i això fa que ni els laboratoris farmacèutics, ni les administracions públiques investiguin aquesta malaltia, tot ho hem d'aconseguir els pares amb fons privats. És una malaltia degenerativa que en pocs anys té un desenllaç fatal.

Siamo un gruppo di bambini affetti da una malattia rara, la sindrome da duplicazione di mecp2, che causa disabilità mentale, psicomotoria e del linguaggio, insonnia, problemi respiratori, bruxismo, stereotipizzazione, reflusso, stitichezza e crisi epilettiche che normalmente ci causano regressione. La Muntanyeta de Tarragona (APPC) is a families association that has been working for 43 years for people with cerebral palsy. We have three services: a school, an occupational center and a residence. We serve more than 100 people with multiple disabilities. Our facilities have been small, and we have long waiting lists. Only with the support of all we can maintain the quality of our services and guarantee a full life for people with disabilities.

Mi chiamo Xana, ho 14 anni e sono meravigliosa, ma poiché non tutto può essere perfetto, ho una paralisi cerebrale e ho una tracheotomia per respirare e una valvola per l'idrocefalo. Ho passato un anno in terapia intensiva e per tutto questo non ho ancora parlato, ma sono molto combattiva, quindi continuerò a combattere!
