For more than 30 years, Scooby has been providing shelter to abandoned and mistreated animals. In the 90's we brought to light the atrocities inflicted on galgos (Spanish greyhounds). At present, we are the biggest shelter in Spain, currently homing more than 1000 dogs and cats and 200 farm animals. Our resources are very limited and we depend mainly on the donations. No disponemos de instalaciones físicas por lo que les ubicamos en casas de acogida de voluntarios o simpatizantes. Apenas tenemos socios y los donativos que recibimos son muy puntuales. This is a sanctuary to help abused & abandoned horses and other species. Live 64 equines and other animals in the sanctuary. The approximate cost per horse per month is 120 euros if they are in good health; if there are not, the amount can go up to a few hundreds of euros and even thousands. Syria is at a crucial turning point in its recent history after the fall of the Al-Assad regime, with many challenges still ahead. 14 years of conflict have left 7 mill. people internally displaced and 16 mill. in need of humanitarian assistance. With increasing movements of Syrian refugee families returning to the country with minimal resources, a critical socio-economic situation and a winter that further complicates the situation, immediate assistance is urgently needed to protect them.

Despite the ceasefire, Gaza continues to suffer extreme hardship. After months of attacks, the Gazan population has been traumatised, wounded and exposed to the elements just as winter approaches. Without urgent improvements in access to water, sanitation, shelter and food, more people will die from entirely preventable causes. Help us to continue our work in Gaza.

Hello friends, we have thought that this group can help more and better by being a piggy bank for when we encounter an emergency (for the health of one of our guests, in times of great drought or, on the contrary, great snowfalls as it has been regular ... etc. etc) there are 61 horses, 1 goat, 2 sheep, 9 chickens, 4 cats and 4 dogs that inhabit the Sanctuary and as you can imagine, there are always too many expenses.
