We are a small charity association in Taurianova (RC) - south of Italy. We currently host around 80 homeless dogs to whom we provide care, food and lots of love, hoping to find them a family forever! We also take care of those that we can't accomodate in our shelter due to lack of space, monitoring them and guaranteeing them veterinary care if necessary, with the aim of finding them a temporary home until we can welcome them.

Wir sind ein gemeinnütziger Tierschutzverein - primär für sog. Listenhunde - die wir in unserer Anlage in Köln betreuen. Unser Hauptaugenmerk liegt hier bei Hunden, die aufgrund ihrer nicht so schönen Vergangenheit kaum Vermittlungschancen haben. Zusätzlich betreuen wir noch einige ältere und kranke Hunde, die sich auf Endpflegestellen befinden. Wir erhalten keinerlei öffentliche Gelder, finanzieren uns ausschließlich aus Patenschaften und Spenden.

Hier werden Schäferhunde von ganz Europa gerettet. Jörg rettet seit 15 Jahren Schäferhunde. Während dieser Zeit wurden über 400 Schäferhunde in ein glückliches Zuhause vermittelt. Alte und kranke, nicht mehr vermittelbare Schäferhunde dürfen bis zu deren Lebensende bei ihm und seinem Team ihr Leben genießen.

The plight of the street dogs in Romania!., We have been dedicated for 9 years to help the animals in Giurgiu, Romania. There we currently take care of 260 dogs and 20 cats, all former emergencies, on our own large premises. All of them would not be alive without us. We take care of hundreds of emergencies every year, take in dogs and organize castrations, help those in need and prevent new emergencies - that's what we stand for!

As per Guinnes Book of World Rekords the Smeura is bearing the mournful title of being the biggest animal shelter of the world. Around 5400 dogs and 600 puppies need around 2.7 tonnes food per day. The staff members are doing an inconceivable job - organizationally, physically and emotionally. Driving around with a castration van and pushing the clearing up of the locals. Every euro is needed. !Tierschutz ist Charaktersache! Wir leben den Tierschutz und kümmern uns um verlassene Hunde in Bosnien und Kroatien.. Wir fahren etwa alle 3 Wochen selber nach Bosnien und Kroatien und bringen Futter und Sachspenden zu den Tieren die unsere Hilfe so sehr brauchen.. Etwa 300 Hunde versorgen wir alleine in Bosnien.. Es müssen Pflegestellen gefunden und bezahlt werden..Die Hunde müssen tierärztlich versorgt und je nach Alter kastriert werden.. Wir sind über jede Unterstützung dankbar..

2008 verkaufte die italienische Tierschützerin, Luigia Parco ihren Besitz und erwarb in Apulien Land, auf dem sie das Oasi Nuova Vita erbaute. Freilauf und geräumige Gehege für ca. 100 Hunde pro Jahr. Geschundene Seelen, kranke Streuner, ausgesetzte Welpen finden dort Zuflucht, Sicherheit und Heilung. Die meisten finden anschließend ein neues Zuhause, andere bleiben dort für immer, zu tief sitzen die Traumata der Vergangenheit. HELFT UNS, ZU HELFEN. www.oasinuovavita.org

Savethedogsbih is a non-profit organization in Bosnia. We rescue dogs that have been abandoned, abused and chained up. For over 6 years, the founder Bruno Jelovic and his team have been caring for over 1000 dogs. Our dogs are not kept in kennels, but live on our ranches where they can just be dogs. We are committed to growing and plan to build more ranches to accommodate more dogs.

Daniela Knezevic and Nadine Bartel lead the Kitten Safe House. They usually take on injured street cats, kitten thrown into the trash or abandoned cats. Try to look after them well and give them in good hands. They also look after feeding sites and catches the cats for castration. There are at least 60 cats in her house, all of whom need food, medicines, cat litter and medical care. This all costs money, you can help us to support Daniela and her crew!
