Refugi per a gatets LEUCÈMICS. El 9 d'abril del 2021 neixen els 8 nadons de BOMBAY, una gateta recollida 21 dies abans del carrer. Un àngel que pateix 3 mastitis des que dóna a llum, sense deixar de donar mamar als seus nadons. Dos mesos més tard sabem que tant els 8 nadons com Bombai són positius a Leucèmia, i avui comença 'Família Bombay' per complir un somni i no abandonar els més febles en el pitjor moment. La Leucemia infecciosa felina (FELV) es un retrovirus que se incorpora al material genético de la célula, lo cual lo hace difícil de tratar. El virus ataca a los leucocitos, debilita el sistema inmunológico del gato. No existe cura para la Leucemia, pero existe una vacuna preventiva que ayuda a evitar el contagio. La infección puede causar inmunosupresión, anemia y enfermedades tumorales (linfomas). Los costes de veterinarios de estos gatitos son muy altos. TODOS nuestros gatos son LEUCEMICOS.
