Lapalomatriste is a Sanctuary that is especially dedicated to pigeons. It is the home of hundreds of rescued feral pigeons. Many of them are brought to us wounded or are disabled for life. We also take in and handrear squabs and youngsters who fell out of the nest. Join our group and help us to sustain the Sanctuary and continue to give a forever home to more birds in distress. Pigeons are the parias of animal protection, they can only count on your compassion!

La Fundació Zoo del Pirineu és centre privat de rescat d'animals salvatges més gran de Catalunya. El 2023, vam tornar 282 animals al seu hàbitat natural. Aquells que no poden tornar a la vida silvestre troben una llar segura al nostre refugi, on els cuidem de per vida. Uneix-te a la nostra causa. We are a non-profit NGO funded by donations. We focus on rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing sanctuary for birds. We handle around 2,000 inquiries and release an average of 250 birds annually. Many come from seizures, trafficking, abuse, and abandonment, and we give them a second chance.
