SoCCS (Societat per a la Cura dels Gats de Sotogrande) és una associació benèfica sense ànim de lucre, registrada oficialment a Andalusia, Espanya, i dirigida per un grup dedicat de 30 voluntaris que treballen incansablement per millorar la vida dels gats del carrer. SoCCS duu a terme programes de TNR (Captura, Esterilització i Retorn) i alimentació a Sotogrande i voltants per mantenir colònies sanes i estables.
La Sotogrande Cat Care Society (SoCCS) és una entitat benèfica registrada a Andalusia, Espanya. Ens dediquem a tenir cura dels gats del carrer mitjançant programes de TNR (Captura, Esterilització i Retorn) i d’alimentació a Sotogrande i els voltants. El nostre equip, format per uns 30 voluntaris, treballa incansablement per millorar la vida dels nostres amics felins menys afortunats. Des de la nostra fundació, hem esterilitzat més de 1.400 gats, evitant el naixement de milers de gatets no desitjats que haurien patit una vida curta i difícil al carrer. Cada dia alimentem més de 200 gats en colònies controlades, assegurant-los menjar, aigua i atenció. No rebem cap suport governamental, i els voluntaris sovint cobreixen les despeses de la seva pròpia butxaca. Si t’uneixes al nostre grup Teaming per només 1 € al mes, ens ajudes a continuar aquesta tasca vital. Cada euro va directament a l’esterilització i l’alimentació — sense sous, sense malbaratament.

In the past six weeks, SoCCS has sterilised 41 cats, bringing the total to more than 1,400 since our inception.
That means tens of thousands — perhaps even hundreds of thousands — of unwanted kittens have not been born into lives of hunger, disease, and hardship on the streets.
All of this takes time, commitment, and money. Trapping, neutering, feeding, and ongoing care all come at a cost — and with no government support, we rely entirely on donations.
Our volunteers are unpaid and often make up shortfalls out of their own pockets.
We’re in the middle of a major neutering drive and want to keep the momentum going for as long as we can. The more cats we can sterilise now, the fewer will suffer later.
