Gavroche is a center which houses these children and provides them with their basic necessities. We are a group of volunteers performing several activities to foment imagination and creativity as well as increase their self-esteem such as excursions, break-dance lessons and general celebrations. This group has been established by Monika to support the school with currently 700 children and to ensure their education. It is our dream goal to get at least 3000 teamers, who would create a monthly financial base. The SJD Pediatric Center is the first monographic centre for paediatric oncology in Spain (2nd in Europe). 70% of the centre is devoted to care and 30% to research. It has the capacity to care for 400 children and youngsters. Its spaces are designed with the emotional well-being of the children and their families in mind.
