Calico Association is a non-profit organization composed of a group of volunteers active throughout the Lazio region. Our objective? Not to leave any needy animal alone. In Nepi our growing community of volunteers spays/neuters, shelters, cares for, and facilitates adoptions for an increasing number of animals in the area. In Rome, we manage the 370 cats hosted at the ValleGrande shelter. We take care of their well-being and promote the adoption of cats and dogs housed in the facility.

The "La Ninna" Hedgehogs Recovery Center is located in Piedmont in Novello, in the province of Cuneo in the Langhe and is a center specialized in curing the European hedgehog, in their preservation in order to reinsert them (when possible) in nature in their habitat. The idea of ​​creating a place to care for and assist the hedgehogs was born following the discovery of an orphaned hog of a few grams "Ninna", taken care of by the veterinarian Massimo Vacchetta.

Ospitiamo oltre 350 animali salvati dal macello e dallo sfruttamento. Ospitiamo più di 20 specie differenti. Con noi vivranno una vita serena e lontana dallo sfruttamento, liberi in tanto spazio e trattati da individui nn da oggetti come è giusto che sia! La nostra vita è dedicata a loro che ogni giorno ci riempiono il cuore... The Animal Sanctuary Capra Libera Tutti is a place where animals which are usually considered as products are saved from exploitation and slaughter and find refuge. About 400 animals live in complete freedom, here they are not considered neither ingredients nor products. For their maintenance, for medical care and for the preservation of the facilities, constant help is needed to ensure that this place can continue to exist and resist. The total costs exceed 250 euros per day.

The Heartland Sanctuary houses more than 300 souls saved by abandonment and exploitation. We host goats, sheep, donkeys, horses, pigs, ocche, chickens, ducks, rabbits, parrots, dogs, cats... Feeding costs amount to € 2000 per month. Thanks to your help, we can go ahead and guarantee him adequate food. With just €1 per month you can make a difference. Al Santuario Heartland arrivano animali con gravi situazioni come conseguenza dello sfruttamento e la crudeltà disumana che hanno subito. Questi animali hanno bisogno di cure veterinarie e trattamenti, che in molti casi durano tutta la loro vita. Inoltre, ci sono le spese di tosature, maniscalco, sverminazione e vacinazione per tutti, oltre alle cure per incidenti non previsti.
