Calico Association is a non-profit organization composed of a group of volunteers active throughout the Lazio region. Our objective? Not to leave any needy animal alone. In Nepi our growing community of volunteers spays/neuters, shelters, cares for, and facilitates adoptions for an increasing number of animals in the area. In Rome, we manage the 370 cats hosted at the ValleGrande shelter. We take care of their well-being and promote the adoption of cats and dogs housed in the facility.

The "La Ninna" Hedgehogs Recovery Center is located in Piedmont in Novello, in the province of Cuneo in the Langhe and is a center specialized in curing the European hedgehog, in their preservation in order to reinsert them (when possible) in nature in their habitat. The idea of ​​creating a place to care for and assist the hedgehogs was born following the discovery of an orphaned hog of a few grams "Ninna", taken care of by the veterinarian Massimo Vacchetta.

Ospitiamo oltre 350 animali salvati dal macello e dallo sfruttamento. Ospitiamo più di 20 specie differenti. Con noi vivranno una vita serena e lontana dallo sfruttamento, liberi in tanto spazio e trattati da individui nn da oggetti come è giusto che sia! La nostra vita è dedicata a loro che ogni giorno ci riempiono il cuore... La loro libertà, la loro vita, il rispetto nei loro confronti sono la nostra missione♥️ Aiutaci con 1 solo euro al mese, insieme si può fare la differenza!

The Animal Sanctuary Capra Libera Tutti is a place where animals which are usually considered as products are saved from exploitation and slaughter and find refuge. About 400 animals live in complete freedom, here they are not considered neither ingredients nor products. For their maintenance, for medical care and for the preservation of the facilities, constant help is needed to ensure that this place can continue to exist and resist. The total costs exceed 250 euros per day.

El Santuario Heartland es el hogar de más de 300 almas rescatadas del abandono y la explotación. Acogemos cabras, ovejas, burros, caballos, cerdos, gansos, gallinas, patos, conejos, loros, perros, gatos… Los gastos de alimentación ascienden a 2.000 € al mes. Gracias a tu ayuda, podemos seguir adelante y garantizarles una alimentación adecuada. Con solo el aporte de 1€ al mes puedes hacer la diferencia. Il supporto servirà a garantire stallo, cure e assistenza continuativa a tutti i gatti che passeranno in stallo presso la nostra associazione.

Al Santuario Heartland llegan animales con situaciones graves, producto de la explotación y la crueldad inhumana que han sufrido. Estos animales necesitan cuidados y tratamientos veterinarios que en muchos casos duran toda la vida. Además, hay gastos de esquila de ovinos, arreglo de cascos de equinos, desparasitación y vacunación y gastos imprevistos. El Santuario Heartland alberga animales rescatados del abandono y condiciones extremas de explotación y crueldad. Cada uno de estos animales necesita espacios y estructuras especiales para cada especie, además del mantenimiento y la mejora constante de las ya existentes. Albergamos ovejas, cabras, caballos, asnos, gallinas, conejos, pavos, cerdos, gatos, perros, papagallos... We decided to get involved, in order to help anyone's angels, the invisible souls, the last ones, who remain alone on the helpless road, abandoned to their inauspicious destiny.
