La Lumière des Chevaux is an animal sanctuary based in the South of France. We rescue animals of all kinds and help people in difficulty with (an) animal(s). We are working for a world free from any kind of animal exploitation. We are currently hosting about 100 equines and 8 cows, as well as goats, sheeps, cats, dogs, fishes, a pig... We need support in order to take care of them and to offer them a beautiful life, and to keep rescuing animals! THANKS FOR THEM!

Depuis plusieurs années je fais du sauvetages de chevaux et de chiens dans ma ville a mon echelle mais j'ai décidé d'en faire plus, pour ces pauvres malheureux. For 24 years, this animal shelter has only functioned with international aid. Without regular donors, Tamara's shelter is constantly on the verge of bankruptcy: we must help her! 1 in 5 children in Yemen suffer from acute malnutrition (2.3 million total). 500,000 are at risk of death. Families do not have money for the hospital or for necessary food. Under Yemeni pediatric supervision we take care of serious and difficult cases. We give milk, food, medicine, medical assistance, pay hospital admissions, etc., until their recovery or improvement. €1 pays for 1 day's worth of milk for 1 baby. Every €10 we buy 1 can of milk for 4 days.

At 19, Janira met Salah, a Syrian boy who, by 13, was selling flowers on the streets of Lebanon to survive. Lacking access to education, Janira decided to create a school for him. She called it 26 Letters. Today, our school supports 450 families with education and humanitarian assistance. Now, with the war reaching Lebanon, their situation has become more dire. Many families are trapped, unable to afford food or shelter, and desperately need help to secure a safer future for their children.
