Syria is at a crucial turning point in its recent history after the fall of the Al-Assad regime, with many challenges still ahead. 14 years of conflict have left 7 mill. people internally displaced and 16 mill. in need of humanitarian assistance. With increasing movements of Syrian refugee families returning to the country with minimal resources, a critical socio-economic situation and a winter that further complicates the situation, immediate assistance is urgently needed to protect them.

Hola soy Laia de 7 años, afectada por una enfermedad rara que afecta a 1/2500 niños. Su nombre es síndrome de noonan, a mí me afecta en el corazón, riñón, coagulación, etc. También a nivel motor, equilibro, estabilidad e hiperlaxitud entre otras. También tengo retraso cognitivo y del lenguaje, aún no hablo, estoy en ello con las terapias, pero son tan costosas que necesitamos ayuda para poder recibir todo lo que necesito. We are a family from Spain. Our son Mateo, has a genetic mutation in the NEK8 gene, considered ultra rare, that is damaging his organs. When he was 9 months old, he had a liver transplant and when he was 3 years old, a kidney transplant. In a future he could need a heart transplant, also.
