Espai de Gats is a cat adoption centre in Barcelona where we work to find homes for adult cats, who unfortunately are more invisible in shelters and refuges. Every month, we need €3,500 for dry and wet food, litter, veterinarians, medicines, rent for the premises... This non-profit project is sustainable thanks to people like you, who love animals. With your contribution, you help us to continue finding homes for more adult cats.

We are a cat sanctuary. Over 70 rescued animals live with us: abandoned cats, injured ferals, and adults with chronic illnesses or behavioral challenges. In 10 years we have rescued over 1,000 animals, and for many, this will be their safe forever home. To keep growing, we are becoming a foundation and building a new sanctuary. We are ALPI Association, a group of families driven by a shared commitment to people with intellectual disabilities, working to meet their present and future needs. We have been based in the city of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, since 1968. We run several services, including a Day Centre, a Special Employment Centre, and a Residential Home. Our work is guided by the goal of promoting integration with within the community, and we actively develop a range of inclusive projects.
