1 in 5 children in Yemen suffer from acute malnutrition (2.3 million total). 500,000 are at risk of death. Families do not have money for the hospital or for necessary food. Under Yemeni pediatric supervision we take care of serious and difficult cases. We give milk, food, medicine, medical assistance, pay hospital admissions, etc., until their recovery or improvement. €1 pays for 1 day's worth of milk for 1 baby. Every €10 we buy 1 can of milk for 4 days.

Abril is a 7-year-old girl diagnosed with SPG52, with only 50 diagnoses in the world. SPG52 is an ultra-rare disease that causes very serious symptoms such as severe intellectual disability, epileptic seizures and very rapid muscle degradation in the lower body. Abril started walking when she was 3 years old and now at 7 she can hardly move anymore.

Jorge sufrió una transfusión feto-fetal de su hermano gemelo Cristian a las 36 semanas de embarazo, lo que le produjo una anemia severa. Cristian no tuvo tanta suerte y murió. Tras 17 días en la UCI, parecía que Jorge iba evolucionando bien, pero con el tiempo le diagnosticaron una parálisis cerebral. Brigada Animalista Barcelona es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro donde luchamos por el bienestar animal. Nuestra misión es ayudar a animales de compañía en situación de desamparo, maltrato y/o abandono y promover sus adopciones. Nos encontramos en Barcelona pero todavía no tenemos un espacio físico donde poder albergar todos los animales que rescatamos. Luchamos día a día para evitar el sufrimiento animal y trabajamos duramente para proporcionarles una buena calidad de vida.
