ProDogRomania ist ein eingetragener Verein, der sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, Leben und Lebensqualität der Hunde in Rumänien (Baile Herculane und Ploiesti) zu schützen. Animal welfare goes beyond national borders. Every animal deserves a chance at a dignified life. The association operates a shelter in Tunari, Romania. A maximum of 140 dogs can currently be taken in and cared for there. We take care of dogs that have had an accident or are in need, and we constantly rescue animals from the so-called killing-shelters. In addition, we support and organize castration campaigns and maintain a Germany-wide network of around 100 foster homes.

Rainfer houses more than 100 primates that have suffered mistreatment, abandonment, loneliness and lack of basic care for many years. They cannot be returned to their home areas, their lives have been stolen, so we must bear the cost of their lifelong care. 3 tons of fruit and vegetables are consumed per month, which together with other necessary foods such as feed, legumes or rice, represent an average cost of €3,500 each month. They depend on us! Can you help us feed them?

I discovered RAWS while vacationing on this beautiful island. The animals are there unfortunately often abused. The staff and volunteers of this shelter do their utmost to collect, care for, sterilize / castrate and make them adopted abroad where a better life expects them. 350 dogs are in this shelter designed for 100. but employees and volunteers are great. The shelter is in constant search of material donations but also of volunteers on site or of "flight companions". Thank you for your help!

For 24 years, this animal shelter has only functioned with international aid. Without regular donors, Tamara's shelter is constantly on the verge of bankruptcy: we must help her! In addition to the stress linked to the lack of regular funds in a country at war (7 years), Tamara, her 4 employees and her animals are regularly victims of violence from a local organisation of "dog hunters". L’ Associazione gestisce il Rifugio “Fratelli Minori”, qui sono ospitati 600 cani e 220 gatti. Le entrate dell’Associazione sono costituite da quote associative, offerte, donazioni di sostenitori e contributi derivanti dalla convenzione con il comune di Olbia. I fondi raccolti servono a sostenere le spese necessarie per la sterilizzazione di cani randagi, l'assistenza agli animali malati e la gestione del Rifugio che si trova sempre in difficoltà.

Rosita es una perrita que tenemos en el refugio, aparte de su alto nivel de leishmaniosis, le salieron unos tumores mamarios y lipomas, se le operó y afortunadamente son benignos, pero la factura asciende a 490€ que no podemos pagar, aparte tenemos unos 100 animales en el refugio, con 1€ que no es mucho, para nosotras es un mundo.... Muchísimas gracias!!!

We are a UK registered charity that supports a number of different rescuers that save dogs from the streets, or sometimes from the kill shelters. The Strays are then placed in safe shelters, for which we help raise funds for foster, money and vet treatment, as well as paying all prep costs for them to travel to the UK.
