Syria is at a crucial turning point in its recent history after the fall of the Al-Assad regime, with many challenges still ahead. 14 years of conflict have left 7 mill. people internally displaced and 16 mill. in need of humanitarian assistance. With increasing movements of Syrian refugee families returning to the country with minimal resources, a critical socio-economic situation and a winter that further complicates the situation, immediate assistance is urgently needed to protect them.

Despite the ceasefire, Gaza continues to suffer extreme hardship. After months of attacks, the Gazan population has been traumatised, wounded and exposed to the elements just as winter approaches. El objetivo principal del proyecto de investigación es evaluar la efectividad de la administración de células mesenquimales en niños con daño cerebral. Se realizará en el Hospital del Niño Jesús de Madrid, pero los niños serán de cualquier lugar de España. Se evaluará la efectividad a nivel motor, a nivel cognitivo conductual, en la reducción de las crisis epilépticas y en la mejoría de la calidad de vida.
