The NGO “Hogar de las Niñas" has the "Ma Sarada" home in India, hosting 285 girls with ages from 4 to 21 years old, who come from extremely poor backgrounds. The aim of the Hogar de las Niñas is to provide the girls with adequate living and education standards, as well as a healthy diet, which palliates the malnutrition and anemia problems they are currently facing. The doctor recommends they be provided with a diet rich in animal protein, in addition to the vegetables and rice.

Los animales abandonados son a menudo las víctimas silenciosas de nuestra sociedad, quedando desamparados a su suerte. Desde la Lliga per a la protecció d’animals i plantes de Barcelona llevamos más de 75 años trabajando por y para ellos. Pero para cuidar de nuestros animales en el refugio necesitamos de vuestras aportaciones económicas para pagar veterinarios, comida y el mantenimiento del propio refugio. REIR ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein, der sich um verschiedene Projekte mit Kindern, die von sozialer Ausgrenzung bedroht sind, kümmert, insbesondere in Katalonien. Wir versuchen, mit Projekten wie Anlaufstellen und Prävention mit dem Kinderhilfswerk eine umfassende Antwort, Schutz und Unterstützung zu bieten. Es werden Schulstipendien für Kinder finanziert, die von Ausgrenzung bedroht sind. Aktuell gibt es ein solches Teaming-Stipendium und demnächst werden wir zwei solcher Stipendien anbieten.

Es bietet allen Einwohnern der Region erschwingliche Gesundheitsversorgung und nimmt selbst die ärmsten Menschen aus entlegenen Gebieten auf. Die Bevölkerung leidet unter schwerer Unterernährung, Dehydration, Malaria, Tuberkulose, AIDS, Lungenentzündung, Meningitis usw. Und Kinder sind am stärksten gefährdet und am häufigsten betroffen.
