Mi chiamo Xana, ho 14 anni e sono meravigliosa, ma poiché non tutto può essere perfetto, ho una paralisi cerebrale e ho una tracheotomia per respirare e una valvola per l'idrocefalo. Ho passato un anno in terapia intensiva e per tutto questo non ho ancora parlato, ma sono molto combattiva, quindi continuerò a combattere! Nuestra pequeña Júlia nació en Agosto de 2014. A las tres semanas le diagnosticaron una enfermedad genética rara llamada distrofia muscular congénita por déficit de merosina. We are a multispecie animal refuge, we give home to more than 150 animals of 14 different species, all the animals who live here have come to us from abusive situations or because they had no other options. We are a family from Spain. Our son Mateo, has a genetic mutation in the NEK8 gene, considered ultra rare, that is damaging his organs. When he was 9 months old, he had a liver transplant and when he was 3 years old, a kidney transplant. In a future he could need a heart transplant, also.
