La caponera Manresana

In 2017, a group of residents of La Floresta started a cooperative action aimed at facilitating the continuity of primary school students at the Cusmají school. It was about financing the transport in a caponera, of 4 young people aged 12/16 to the high school in Palacagüina. Now, they are asking us to be able to expand this initial number and move to 7/8 teenagers in the next 4 years. From the Manresa, we make this second caponera, La Manresana, possible. Can we count on you?

La Caponera Manresana project

Adolescent high school students from the community of Cusmají (Nicaragua)

It is a project that opens the door to the possibility that some of the teenagers between 12 and 16 years of age in the Cusmají community can continue studying. Without this project, abandonment is almost certain, due to the distance to the Palacagüina high school. Completing secondary school allows them the training they will need to break the dynamics of economic marginality and opening up the possibility of higher studies, bringing added value to their communities in the face of their social transformation. From the Comarca del Bages, we want to support the initial project of La Floresta, while making a second caponera possible. Achieving by 2025-2028, for 4 years, that a total of 7-8 boys and girls can go to high school and not be forced to work on coffee plantations or other unqualified jobs. We count on you!

Hola, amigues i amics de la Caponera Manresana.

El febrer va començar el curs escolar 2026 a Nicaragua. També a l’Institut de Palacagüina, on estudien els quatre adolescents de la comunitat de Cusmají, usuaris de les Caponeres. Per a ells, el retorn és ple d’il·lusió. Amb ganes d'aprendre i obrir portes al futur. La seva dedicació als estudis és, també, una llavor de futur per a tota la comunitat.

Nosaltres hi posem el nostre grà de sorra amb el suport diari de les Caponeres Manresana i Florestana.

La Setmana Santa ha ofert un breu respir, tant per al xofer com per als alumnes. És una de les celebracions més sentides del país, juntament amb Nadal, un temps de retrobament.

Ara s’acosta Sant Jordi 2026, i és una bona ocasió per convidar-vos a recollir la vostra rosa de solidaritat i a ajudar-nos a fer-ne la màxima difusió.
