As per Guinnes Book of World Rekords the Smeura is bearing the mournful title of being the biggest animal shelter of the world. Around 5400 dogs and 600 puppies need around 2.7 tonnes food per day. The staff members are doing an inconceivable job - organizationally, physically and emotionally. Driving around with a castration van and pushing the clearing up of the locals. Every euro is needed. Hilfe für Italiens Streuner, ein Projekt des deutschen Tierschutzvereines Leben für Streuner e.V., hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, Streunern in Italien zu helfen. Wir unterstützen Tierschützer vor Ort um die aufgenommenen Notfälle mit Futter zu versorgen, ihnen die nötige medizinische Versorgung zu gewährleisten und Lebenssituationen zu verbessern. Wir sind ebenso stets bemüht, mit Durchführung von Kastrationen von Straßen- und Besitzertieren das Leid zusätzlicher Streuner einzudämmen.

Wir setzen uns für die Tauben im Stadtgebiet Hannovers ein, indem wir hilfsbedürftige/verletzte Tauben einfangen und versorgen, uns für betreute Taubenschläge engagieren und Aufklärungsarbeit leisten.

Our small association supports the Romanian animal rights activist Flori in Galati in the rescue, care and accommodation of appr. 400 street dogs. Flori is an animal rights activist with heart and soul. We help her with the care and placement of her dogs in a better life. Now a new shelter has to be built. Thanks to the tireless help of the sponsors and loyal donors, the dogs have been cared for so far. Only with your help can we manage to continue.

Mit Deinem Beitrag unterstützt Du private Pflegestellen. Wildtiere haben kaum eine Lobby. Dafür sind wir da. Egal ob Vögel, Igel, Maulwurf etc. werden komplett versorgt. Mit Medikamenten, Futter, Hygiene, Unterkunft etc. Nachdem die Tiere wieder gesund sind, werden sie in die Natur entlassen und auch teilweise weiter gefüttert. Sie werden auch nach Freilassung nicht allein gelassen und regelmäßig beobachtet, ggf. untersucht und auch wieder behandelt. Wir danken Euch für die Unterstützung!

Sabir comes from Azerbaijan and, as an unemployed person with a serious heart operation behind him, has already rescued countless cats together with his two daughters and his wife, although he himself only has enough money to eat. For 2014 we have been helping Stibis' dog paradise, in Public Shelter Galati, where 1500 dogs "live". These dogs do not have anyone and so you need us. We make sure enough food is available on site and have already saved many dogs. We also castrate, we let dogs provide medical care, etc. Therefore, we are grateful to YOU for any help. For 24 years, this animal shelter has only functioned with international aid. Without regular donors, Tamara's shelter is constantly on the verge of bankruptcy: we must help her! In addition to the stress linked to the lack of regular funds in a country at war (7 years), Tamara, her 4 employees and her animals are regularly victims of violence from a local organisation of "dog hunters". First animal shelter in Ukraine, it homes more than 1,000 dogs and 300 cats.
