Somos una asociación sin ánimo de lucro situada en Cullera (Valencia). Nuestro principal objetivo es el rescate de animales abandonados y/o maltratados, curarlos, devolverles la confianza y una vez estén listos buscarles la familia más adecuada. Nuestra mayor satisfacción es ver felizmente adoptado a cada huérfano. Animal Charity Akira was formed in 2011, and opened a shelter in 2016. A monthly allowance is given by both Benissa and Teulada Moraira town councils towards the running costs of the shelter, but this is less than the cost of the veterinary bills for the dogs in their care, so AKIRA needs donations to help provide for the dogs. We are constantly fund raising but you could help by sparing just 1 euro per month to help provide a safe, friendly, caring environment for the dogs.

APROP is a not for profit Animal Protection Association based in Pego, Spain. We are a network of committed volunteers and foster carers who rescue and rehome abandoned dogs and cats. Our shelter is basic, but full of love and care, providing a safe place for our animals to stay along with food and all veterinary care until they are adopted. Syria is at a crucial turning point in its recent history after the fall of the Al-Assad regime, with many challenges still ahead. 14 years of conflict have left 7 mill. people internally displaced and 16 mill. in need of humanitarian assistance. With increasing movements of Syrian refugee families returning to the country with minimal resources, a critical socio-economic situation and a winter that further complicates the situation, immediate assistance is urgently needed to protect them.
