Foundation We Are Here Lesvos helps stray dogs in Lesvos. With a few volunteers we try to improve their living circumstances by making sure they have food, stop their procreation and protect and treat them for diseases. We help them with a dry and safe place to sleep by providing self made dog houses. Dogs that won't survive as strays will be relocated and found a loving home. Pups that have been dumped or stray dogs that won't survive on the streets will get a better future this way.

my name is Irene and I live and work on the beautiful Greek island Kythira for 15 years now, here I take care of the stray cats of the island, I have developed a feeding station and placed 28 of them around the island, I feed about 700 cats and at my home I have a shelter for cats with handicaps, at the moment 40 cats, that for there own safety cannot live in the "wild" because they are blind, deaf, paralyzed etc. for more information visit the website or follow me on FB .. Deze groep is opgericht ter ondersteuning van 'Spaanse Honden in Nood' | Animal Care Espana. Deze organisatie, meer dan 20 jaar geleden opgericht door een Belgische dame, is gevestigd in Mijas (Zuid-Spanje) en redt honden van dodingstations. Het heeft permanent meer dan 500 honden in zijn 2 refugio's en zoekt fijne adoptiegezinnen voor hen in België en Nederland, na een grondige screening van de kandidaten. We are a family that takes care of approximately 60 colony cats in the Torrevieja area in Spain. Colony cats are cats that don't live in a house, but who call a certain place outside their home. We feed these cats and provide medical care. The costs per week for just food is around 40 euros, adding the medical care this is too much for us to fund. We also rescue sick or abandoned kittens and take them in our home to provide care. Once they are ready, we find suitable homes for them.

Somos un refugio para perros en Xabia, España creado en 1999. Nuestro refugio ofrece un lugar seguro para perros que han sido perdidos, abandonados o entregados por sus dueños hasta que puedan encontrar su hogar para siempre. Somos un gran refugio que depende principalmente de donaciones para los gastos generales de funcionamiento del refugio y el cuidado de los perros. Suministramos medicamentos, comida, refugio y cuidados a nuestros perros todos los días de la semana durante todo el año.
